These Terms of Service apply to all bookings made directly through www.saltwaterstays.uk for short-term holiday accommodation in the United Kingdom. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Bookings & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once payment is received.
Prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
We accept payment via credit/debit cards and bank transfer.
A booking confirmation will be issued by email once payment is received.
4. Check-In / Check-Out Times
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in/late check-out may be available on request and may incur additional charges.
5. Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in
Grace Period 48 hours
50% refund for cancellations made 3–6 days before check-in.
No refund for cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in or for no-shows.
All cancellations must be made in writing (email is sufficient).
6. House Rules
Guests agree to:
Treat the property with care and respect.
Not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in the listing.
Not hold parties, events, or gatherings without prior written permission.
Refrain from smoking indoors.
Keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Report any damage or maintenance issues immediately.
7. Liability
We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to your personal property during your stay, except where caused by our negligence.
8. Right of Entry
We or our representatives may enter the property at reasonable times to carry out urgent repairs, inspections, or maintenance, with prior notice where possible.
9. Termination of Stay
We reserve the right to cancel a booking or terminate a stay without refund if:
You breach these Terms or house rules.
You engage in illegal or disruptive behaviour.
There is any risk to the property or other guests/neighbours.
10. Data Protection
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Any personal data collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
